UPROAR!!! Principal, teachers flee as students storm school with weapons

Hurly-burly surfaced in Yewa High School, Ajilete as Principal and the teachers fled the school when some students believed to be cultists allegedly stormed the office of the  principal with dangerous weapons and fetish objects.

Koko Domain exclusively gathered that some Senior Secondary Schools Students broke into the Principal office and looted it.

It was further gathered that the following day the Principal invited Police over the matter and two of them were arrested.

The students were suspected to have been initiated into cultism but, were threatened to be dealt with by the Principal and the teachers of the schools.

In what could be described as reprisal attack, some colleagues of the arrested students reportedly stormed the school with fetish objects placed at the door step of the Principal's office while they hid in the bush close to the school.

The students were reported to have later stormed the school with dangerous weapon and threatened the Principal and the teachers which made them to flee the school.

Further findings showed that the Principal who is a younger sister to the current Head of Service, Mr. Abayomi Sobande was said to have vowed not to resume in the school.

The teachers were also said to have deserted the school and seeking deployment elsewhere.

It was gathered furtherly that due to the trouble the students had been unleashing on the community people; many people in the community opined that the school should be short down.

But however, the elders of the community raised a counter opinion saying - there are numerous ways the school can still be managed [by the government or the people] in spite of the challenges facing it with regards to the student devastating tendency.
