VIDEO: Murmurs and grumbles as Governor Fayose declares to run for presidency in 2019

It is no longer news that, the second Executive and first People's Democratic Party (PDP) Governor in Ekiti State, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, has recently declared his intention to run for presidency in the coming general election against the current president if he would come out again to be voted for.

The native of Afao Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State - who was born on the 15th of November, 1960 in Ibadan, in his statement while making the declaration said, he has the love of Nigeria at heart. And so for that reason, he would like to make things work in the country if the citizens would grant him permission to do so, by casting their votes for him as the President of the country come 2019.

Although, as reported days ago, that the members of the party he would be coming out from slammed him when they heard of his aspiration: the party claimed that was it not the same party he shunned and neglected for months he is planning to represent in the federal level - that will not work.

However, at a party where the declaration was celebrated - just as you would see in the video below, some of the party members testified to the impeccability of the aspirant, and then endorsed him as the man fit for the sit. These party members include: Former North-central Chairman, Alhj. A. Yusuf and Former Osun State's Deputy Governor, Sen. Iyiola Omisore.
