The popular Yoruba-nollywood actor who has been in battle with heart/lung disease, died in the early hours of today the Saturday Morning. The news got to people through his PA, who was with him when he passed on.
Today would definitely be a sad day for the Nollywood community. Reports gathered claims that the actor was yet to recover fully from the sickness. However, his condition got exacerbated at the middle of the night, and he was said to have called his PA to take him to UCH in the middle of his excruciating pain by the night; but he died before he could be conveyed to the hospital.
“Jide Omo Moronfolu, agbara mi o ka mo o”. If we transliterate that, what was trying to say is that the strength to persevere was not there anymore.
While on his sick bed, the above was what he once said to the Ace TV broadcaster (Jide Moronfolu) in Yoruba.
We pray that the good Lord will grant the friends and family of the decease fortitude to bear the loss.
