The woman pictured above was accused
of attempting to kidnap the primary school pupils in the Ekoro area of
Abule-Egba, Lagos on May 6th, 2015. Eye-witnesses claim the woman stopped the
kids, who were aged 7-10 years as they were going to school, and asked to take
them to school. Then a female hawker in the area, suspecting the woman was up
to no good, alerted others in the area who then surrounded the woman and
started asking her questions. And before
anyone could stop them, they descended on the woman, beat her to a stupor and
then set her ablaze.
At this point, you think the press
and blogs are doing enough to educate and sensitize Nigerians on how things are
done in a manner that people don't get threatened. How can people take laws in their
hands to this extent. We all cried out when ALUU boys were innocently murdered,
but it seems we haven't learned our lessons yet. The truth is everyone who
contributed to the above killing are murderers and it's high time government
start giving them jail terms. Nigerians should stop been foolish, wicked and
lawless, if she was really guilty as claimed, what stops them from calling the
police?
A murderer killing a kidnapper - what an odd world.
I have just one thing to tell you; and that is what Jesus told those that came to stone the woman. If you know you're not a sinner, you can join them where you see people killing a sinner. But on the contrary, if you know you're a sinner, and you join them where people are killing a sinner [whether he/she is an accused or a suspect]: you have not only taken the law in your hands, but you have as well succeeded in displaying to us what a beast looks like. And as time goes by, you will later be treated as a beast one day. It's not a curse; it's just that "what goes around, comes around".
