Kidnappers abduct 6year-old boy in Calabar

CALABAR –  Master Eyo Antigha, the six year son of the proprietor of Faith Nursery/ Primary School Michael Antigha in Calabar South was Monday morning abducted by persons suspected to be kidnappers.

An eye witness, who lives opposite the school said  the suspected kidnapper  waited for the boy at the entrance of the school and as soon as the boy alighted from the vehicle that brought him to school  he was whisked away into a waiting speed boat.

“We have been noticing an increase in the number of strange people living around our area as squatters in this Anantigha area recently and we suspect they have been responsible for the incessant kidnappings of people in Calabar of recent ,” he said.

The Cross River State Police Command spokesman, ASP Hogan Bassey, confirmed the incident. He said efforts are being made to ensure the boy i regain his freedom.
